Special thanks also to the staff at Wellspring Birmingham Gilgan House (HaltonPeel) for their care and support during Ruth's journey, as well as to her close friend Lynne Taylor for all her care and support and to her wider circle of friends and colleagues who provided support and love through their visits, cards and prayers. LOGAN, Geoffrey Williams Passed away peacefully at home with Susie (nee Fuester) holding his hand on Sunday May 4, 2014 at the age of 73. Doting father to Karen Styles and Cathy Logan. Father-inlaw to John David Styles and James Nicholson whom he embraced as his own sons. Adored "Pa" to Kelsey, Allie, Ryan, Finn and Ella. Dear brother-in-law to James Fuester and his wife Marie McGovern. Predeceased by his parents Beatty and Betty Logan. Geoff enjoyed many strong friendships and made great memories at Camp Ahmek, Upper Canada College, Western University, Bay Street, Winnipeg, Oakville, Gull Lake, Hilton Head, and his many travels with Susie. During his career on Bay St. Geoff was known for his integrity, loyalty and caring manner. Always a prankster, he made us laugh and smile, and he will be greatly missed. Following in his tradition of always being early, he left us far too soon. Cremation has taken place. Geoff hated attending funerals and he especially disliked the idea of attending his own. Therefore, there will be a celebration of Geoff's life at the Oakville Golf Club on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides or Anaphylaxis Canada would be appreciated.
