John Scott, a native of Glasgow, Scotland, and a well known resident of Jordan and vicinity, passed away at the General and Marine Hospital, St. Catharines, on Saturday evening, Nov. 11. The deceased was a faithful employee of E.D. Smith, fruit grower, Jordan Station, for the past six years. He was unmarried, and has no relatives in this country. Two brothers reside in Scotland. The funeral took place on Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the funeral apartments of McIntyre and Son to Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
