The suspicions of neighbours were aroused when they did not see her about on Monday, and on Tuesday then notied John Mcugh, her brotheri-n-law, who went over to the house, and on en- tering by the window found `her ly- ing on tlte oor dead. In view of talk about men having been seen about the house on Sun- day, Coroner McLean decided to hold an inquest. A jury was empanelled, with Mr. John Horn as foreman, and after viewing the body, heard the evidence of John McHug`h, who told the circumstances under which he had found it. He hatl heard the stories of men being about, but knew nothing more. Dr mlnln-i<+, who had attended nothing Dr. Gilchrist, who had attended Miss Robinson professionally, testi- led that she had been troubled with heart disease, and thought her death probably due to apoplexy, judging from the appearance of her face and neck.
