There were three names considered, Jas. Moore, Reeve of Aliiston; T. J. Simpson. ex-Warden and now Clerk, and D. H. Coleman, Reeve of Inn.is- l. A closed ballot was taken and on the first ballot D. H. Coleman was elected. Jas. Jardine, Reeve ot Nottawasaga, was chosen as succes- sor to Reeve Coleman as Chai-rman of Roads and Bridges. By a good majority the memubers voted in favor of paying the $5,000 to the National Sanitarium which was pass- ed at the January session on. 1922. The Coun- cil wrestled with prolblems that had been neglected at previous meetings and accomplished much.
