They had avery pleasant time. ` -3. `sun In spite of the bad roads, the Allandale hockey Club Journeyedto Cookstown on Thursday evening and played a name with the team of that village. The game in the rat half was pretty tame as the Allandale boys were stiff after their long drive; and when half-time was up Cook- stown was ahead by ,2 to 1. After a short restthe Allandale boys went out to win, and by the `combined rushes of McDo-n- ough, Poucher and. Johnston succeeded in scoring 3 goals. Gookstown in the meanwhile only notching one. - At this time, the Allandale point player who all evening was handlcaped in 11!! lifting by the smallheight of the rink, lifted the puck and broke one of the lamp shades. While this was being` repaired the Cooks- town time-keeper claimed time was up _altho_.ugh therewas still some eight min-' utes to play and the Cookstown team left the ice refusing. to play out the re- maining time. This was quite a surprise to-our boys who were lined up on the V me waiting tor Odokstown to reappear. which they failed to do leaving the score 4 to 3 in favor of -the Orange and the `Green.
