GitNr;.strsN,-I have your letter of the 24'.h.Aasking me what benet Pink Pillsfor Pale People. and it gives` menu- bounded satisfaction to-rep:y. _Within ten dlyl after I- `began taking -Dr, Williams Pink Pills, those terribly ex cruciatiug pin) I had experienced -in my limbs, heart, st:-mach, back and head, began to leave `me, becoiiiine` less severe and less frequent and before I had taken all of the second -box they were gone. At times since I have experienced aches, but they are nothing compared to the pains I had formerly? sulfa-r.d. For months I could get no sleep or rest, only i -from the use of morphine, two, three and five times daily. Soon `after I be gan taking the Pink Pills I discontinued the morphine and have taken it but one. since. and I am now only taking my fourth box of the Pilis. B f.re I began taking Pills I had no passage from my bowels except from the use of cathartics. Very soon after taking` the pills my bowels moved regularly. and naturally,- - ` constipation was entirely gone. Previous to commencing the use of Pink Pills my urine was milky in color and after stepd- iniz resembled a jelly substance. is clear and perfectly natural, and shows no sediment whatever. I had` lost -the use of my legs and could not bear the weight of my body on them. By the use of Dr. Williams Pink Pills_ and cold baths and rubbing with a crashtowel prescribed with them, my limbs have steadily gained in health and strength until 1 can now bear my full weight upon them. I have been gaining slowly, but surely, ever since I began the use of the Pink Pills and am perfectly condent that I will be able to walk again and be comfortable, and this after doctoring for years with the best physicians and specialists who said my disease could not -be cured but only relieved temporarily by the use of hypodermic iniections of mor- phine. I would not do without Dr. Williams Pink Pills under any circum- stance, even though they cost ten times what they do, and I str ugly recommend them to persons elicted with locomotor ataxia, paralysis, kidney troubles, ner- vous diseases and impurities of the blood.` I have recommended the Pink Pills to a number of old comrades,._and in every instance they have proved benecial, can I therefore do less than warmly. recom- mend them to all who read this letter 7 Yours very gratefully, i E P. The lecture on i the first evening by Mr. J A Patterso , 1 of` Toronto, contained much food for thought and was the production of an undoubtedly clever mind. I take `excep- tion to the manner of its delivery how- ever, as in my opinion asproductiou which is read from beginning to end is an essay and notlan address. He closed with a : grand description of Wannamalrer's Sun- l day School, which he visited a few weeks ' ago. I t was a regretable fact that several who promised to give addresses on the second day failed to appear or to send an explanation. This is not the right thing. Altogether, I think the Convention was! not as successful as the one held here three years ago. The same general inter- est doesnot appear to have been taken in it and the whole talk and management ap- pears tu have devulved upon a few. If the Convention is to do its work there must be achange, and every member of it must feel a personal interest and take a Dart in it. The President for the coming year is Mr. J. F.
