The event took place at the house of her sister. Mrs Crnxall at Uxbridge, Mrs Dougall had gone to Uxbridge to visit her sister who was very ill. After her arrival she was seized with irritation of "the lungsyvwhich developed to pneumonia and thus terminated fatally. Mrs Dougall was attended by her son James and all that medical skill could accomplish was done but wi bout eifect Her two daughters `arrived at her bedside only an hour before she died `having missed the train at Orillia after arriv- al from Barrie and were forced to remain all night in Orillia. The body was brought from Uxbridge to Barrie on Thursday and the interment took `place to the Union Cemetery on Fridayafternoon. The `funeral was largely attended. The deceased `was a valued member of the Presbyterian church. She was universally respected and her death will be regretted by a large circle of friends.
