Four- teen of the almost spent shot entered the face and neck of James McKee, and it is fortunate that the distance, over a hundred yards, from where Mr. Beatty stood to the building, prevented what might have been a serious if not a fatal result. Too much care cannot be exereised in the use of re arms. We are sure that no one feels more regret at the accident than Mr. Beatty himself. Mr. Mc;Kee is not seriously injured, and thou h some of the shot are still imbedded in t e tissues of his face, the accident will not materially interfere with his ordinary duties, and he will be all right in a few days.
