Considerable difficulty has been experienced in operating the juvenile series of the church league `this year. The players were a little hard to handle and even the mentors of some teams took more than a little time out to cause difficulties, There is a distinct need for a change in this league. The main idea of its -formation was to promote good. clean competition and sports- manship and to aid attendance in Sunday Schools and church- es. Good sportsmanship was certainly absent as far as this season's contests were concern- ed and as for regular attendance at schools on Sundays that is rather doubtful in many cases also. Q .-. .-. c It has been suggested that with ice still available here an exhibition game with Calling- wood or some other better than average team should he arrang- ed and that the Barrie tourists be matched against them. The thought has merit when the line-up is looked over-goaI, Goring; -defence. Byte, Kash- ner. Storey and Terry; tor- wards, Don Bowen. Long and Scott, Livingston. Palmer and Bakogeorgc. but the work and -expense of getting these clubs together might not warrant the return. It would be interesting we will admit. 1': J: _`: I-LAT sporrr .Barrie Boy, Grunt Goring *Goalig__1:or Nogthern Champs |ANDER_l_{ u ILL` nallllu nun uuugxus Q1,-in I}:-vxnn and PA 114. , I lu-g 1 BY NORM.
