As for the convention, if he had to do it all over, reappoint his chair- men and committees, he would not make a single change. He said he be- lievcd people were sincere when they said the convention just held was the best in the history of the district and thought the Barrie Club had much of which to be proud-had made a name for itself as ideal hosts and experts in organization. The concerted singing of the gath- ering at luncheon and dinner each day was entered into with enthusiasm. Good song leaders had much to do with the peppy singing. Ernie Ryan lf Barrie. Tom Brown of Orillia and -George White of New Liskeard, each in his own way. swung the choruses along` in ne style. Edmund Hardy performed the onerous duties of ac- companist in a manner that lent additional spirit to the choruses. The Cobalters had a song of their own which was decidedly good. For the occasion the Windsorites also had several special songs and they also had a lady soloist to help present their claims before next yea.r's meeting place was chosen. Four Barrie Club songs were sung and went over big. These were: Beautiful Barrie and Bigwin," both by Edmund Hardy, and Kiwana" and Kiwanis Sublime" both by Ernie Ryan. The Hamilton song leader was so taken with Ki- wana" that he asked for a copy of the music. 1' n.-In-I34-GA 4-A O-kn ntrnvc `Fvnrn Llii,` HIUSIU.
