After his marriage he went to live in Duluth. some years later he went to Michigan, returning to Canada in 1913. He was a Conservative, and a member of Coul- son s Hill L.0.L. Two years ago he had a slight stroke of paralysis `but improved sufficiently to be able to de- liver mail for two months until he fin- ished his contract. In January of this year he was taken very ill but made a partial recovery and was able to be up and around almost every day until the Thursday previous to his death when he was taken suddenly ill. His wife survives, together with two sons, James E. of Gilford and J. W. Roy of Aberdeen, Wash. He was the last of a family of ten, seven -brothers and three sisters. Interment took place at Coul- son s Hill, June 19. Rev. A. D. Cousins took the service, assisted by Rev. T. J. Dew. Pallbearers were Willoughby Nesbitt, Roy Bell, Fred Ritchie, Elmer Rothwell, Ted Nesbitt and Harry Al- len. Freinds were present from Tor- onto, Creemore and Alliston.
