Ivy will have some good ora- tors in the future. Isaac Speers, Jr., had a good display from his fur farm, Chinchilla rabbits, coons and muskrats and -other things, all of which -proved very interesting to the children. There was always a bunch around them. An- other new feature of the fair this year was a display of trees in the work of reforestation, showing the growth of the tree from the seed to the little tree. Another good thing was an interesting tournament in horseshoes which drew a. big -crowd. -Four-teen pairs entered. First prize winners, W. C. Banting, Ivy, and W. McLean, Elmgrove; second prize, Jim Jennetf, Thornton and Bob. Ayot, Ivy; third, Earl Reid, Ivy_and Dave V Miller, Utopia; fourth, G. Wilson and F. In the "evening many were unable to get into the building. The church was most beautifully decorated with flowers for' the -occasion by the young ladies class of the Sunday -School. `They are to be congratulated on the work. The choir rendered a most pleasing service of praise and the male quartette, compris- ` ing Neville Jamieson, W. J. McLean Willis Smith and Reggie Arnold, more than delighted the large congregation.
