She had gone through a serious operation ~ in _the winter but apparently was get- ting along well when. a short time ago- 'pneumonia set in. Although everything `possible was done she quietly passed away on the above date. Edith had been attending high school. She was a very bright and efficient scholar and had many friends. She was 15 years of age. The funeral, which was large. took place on July 9, to the Union Cemetery. ;'1`his whole community extends sincere -sympathjy to the family in their sad bereavement.
