The deceased :had suffered a severe attack of pneumonia. iMr. Lowrie was a man of a` sociable dis- !position and consequently won a host of Ifriends. He was 67 years of age and was lborn in the neighborhood of Ivy. When a iyoung man he went to Western Canada. He- ; married a -Miss Downey of Portage la. Prair- iie, who formerly came from Ivy. About `17 years ago his wife died leaving two daughters and one son.
