www.insideHALTON.com | OAKVILLE BEAVER | Friday, January 24, 2014 | 24 Artscene "Connected to your Community" Group brings murder-mystery to Oakville Centre stage West End Studio Theatre will be bringing a detective murder-mystery to the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts stage next month. The Oakville-based group will be performing Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None Feb. 6-8 and Feb. 12-15 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 9 at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $28 or $22 for the matinee show. The play, directed by Paul Groulx and produced by John O'Hara, brings together eight guests, who have never met each other or their apparently absent host and hostess, on an island off the coast of Devon, U.K. Marooned, the guests, along with two house servants, nd themselves in a sticky situation when a mysterious voice accuses each of them of having gotten away with murder. With one guest poisoned, it's only a matter of time before one by one, they're all picked off. It eerily parallels the statuettes of little soldier boys on the mantel in the house, which fall to the oor and break one by one as those in the house succumb to a diabolical avenger. A nursery rhyme tells how each of the ten "soldiers" met his death -- until there were none.
