Parks and trails remained closed throughout town as of Monday (Dec. 30). Oakville Hydro president Rob Lister said approximately 30 homes were without electricity Christmas morning in the wake of the ice storm that struck Dec. 21-22. The local utility succeeded in getting that number down to a dozen customers over the course of Christmas Day. By Monday, just three customers needed power reconnected.
