The death occurred in the City Hospital, Hamilton, on Sunday afternoon, April 9, of Miss Emily Blower, a former Grimsby resident. The deceased lady was taken ill on Saturday evening, and early Sunday morning was removed to the hospital, where she died at 2:45 p.m. Miss Blower had only been out from England about nine months and resided with her sister, Miss Mary, on Depot Street. The two ladies moved to Hamilton to live about two weeks ago and resided on Stuart Street. Besides her sister, she leaves a father and mother in England to mourn her loss. She was only 22 years old. The funeral took place from Dodsworth's undertaking rooms via H. G. & B. to Queen's Lawn Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon.
