Mrs. John Cowl- Jeen 07 &Jwn On Friday, Dec. 18, at the Lions Centre commencing at 8:30 p.m., Teen Town will hold ils annual Christmas Dance. Music will be provided by the Bel-Aires; the sweetest music this side of Oshawa. Large re- cord albums will be given as prizes for spot dances and a teddy bear will be given as the door prize. Attire - dress-up.. Admission 50c. for menabers and 75c. for non-members. TYRONE The fourth meeting of 4-H Club was held at Lynne Stain-- ton's, Dec. 8. The two leaders and ine girls were preserut. We opened with. the 4-H pledge followed 'by the min- utes of the last meeting read by Lynne Stainton. The rol cail was then answered. We de- cided where we'd have the next meeting andi who'd bring lunch. Mrs. Skinner talked about meat f ish meat alternatives, meal1 planning, menus and. uses of leftovers. We took some no- tes and then made cheese fondu andi baked rice, andi rice. Everyone took the "home as- siganient" 'and had lunch. Very few girls likesi the food we made.
