A halo cap edged in pearîs held ber finger-tip veil and she carried a basket of red1 roses. Miss June Staîker, Bow- manville,. was the bride's attend- ant, wearing a full length strap- less gown of nylon net over pale blue satin witb matching Juliet cap. She carried a basket of pink carnations. Mr. Joe Kelemen, Oshawa, was best man, and ushers were Mr. Philip F. Finney and Mn. Donald Heard. A reception was beld at the home of the bride, the bride's mother receiving in à -dless of pale blue net with navy accessot'- les. She was assisted by the groom's mother who wore a navy ,blue ensemble. Both wore cor- gages of pink carnations. Following the reception, the bride and groom ]eft on a wedding trip ta Lakeview, Ohio, the bride weaning for travelling a býue tail- ored suit with navy accessories and corsage of pink carnations. On their return they will reside in Oshawa. WEATHERILT - FOWLER A very pretty summer wedding took place at the home of the bride's parents, when Rev. James Hampson united in marriage, Margaret Fowler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Fowler, R. R. 1, Bethany, to Earl Weatherilt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Wea- therilt, Bethany. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was lovely in ber afternoon dress of powder blue crepe trimmed with tiny beads and seed pearîs with matching bolero. Her shoulder length veil was of matching blue caught to a headdress of pink roses and lily of the valley. Her bouquet was of _nV eetheart roses. Following the luncheon the happy couple left on a motor trip, the bride travelling in a navy blue dress with white accessories, grey coat and corsage of red roses. Chantran and the late Mr. Chartran, be- came the bride of John Herbent Roughley, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Roughley, Oshawa. The cermeony was performed by Rev. A. G.
