Thursda.y, April 3 8 p.m.-Jr. and Sr. Photography Well, we're back on the same old curriculum once again for another term here at B.H.S. It doesn't seem possible that the Easter exams have whizzed by us f&' one more year, but they have,-much to aur relief. As* a resuit, there hasn't been anything startling happening at B.H.S. this week except for exams, exams and more exams. The only other exception was the return game with, Peterboro Friday night. B.H.S. Boys Lose Round Wlth Petes 87-28 It was a vastly improved team that took the floor for *B.H.S. on Friday evening, but stili they were unable ta handie the sharp- shooting P.C.I. squad. The final score was 39-17 but that was not an indication of the play as Bow- manville deserved ta be at least a littie doser an the scoreboard. Thus the round ended- with P.C.I. winners 87-28. The play started off where it ended in *Peterboro with P.C.I. much the better team and they rang up an early 14-2 lead before B.H.S. boys called a, Solina 1 i time-out and talked, things aver. From then on B.H.S. held their own and at half time the score was 17-4. Again in the 3rd quar- ter the home towners held their own and- increased the score ta 21-7. In the last quarter the fans were treated ta a real display ai basketball as bath teams forgot the close checking and went ail- out. B.H.S. were autscored 18-10 but they turned- in a very credilt- able showing. In the last haîf, a great many fouis were handed out by Don Mason who did. an excellent job as "whistle-taoter." B.H.S. 's best man was Sonny Hooper who neyer stopped try- ing and led his team in scoring with 7 points while Paterson ab- tained 4 and Rundle, DeGeer and Tamblyn 2 each. B.H.S. finished a very success- fui season with this game, hav- ing played Il games and lost on- ly 3. A great deal ai credit js due Coach Witherspoon who has guided the team in excellent fa- shion throughout the season. Peterbaro will now go ta Toronto on the 28th for the finals.
