Hosted by MEDIchair Halton at the Oakville Conference Centre, the event drew more than 700 veterans from Halton and beyond, many of whom attended dressed in uniform -- their jackets heavy with medals. The event kicked off with a piper playing as a Colour Party carried Canadian and Allied ags to a podium. This was preceded by a procession including local politicians, Canadian Forces members, Halton police and RCMP of cers.
