Description
- Full Text
Abingdon: Mr. Edward Gillespie, one of the oldest pioneers of Caistor, passed away on Thursday last, at the good old age of 87 years. Although he led a very quiet and unobtrusive life, seldom taking part in public affairs, he was well known as an honest, upright and honorable man. He died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. C.W. Packham, where he had been living of late, and death was not unlooked for as he had been ailing for some time.
