On Saturday, Oct. 26, Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides is hosting its annual fall Open House at the Oakville training facility located at 152 Wilson St. From 10 a.m.-2 p.m., the public is invited to cuddle some future Dog Guide puppies, see demonstrations from all six Dog Guide programs, tour the training facility, and learn about how to become a foster family or volunteer. The event will also feature a silent auction, with all proceeds going towards providing Dog Guides at no cost to Canadians with disabilities.
