Often times a snow windrow accumulates at the end of driveways during road plowing, which can be difficult for seniors and individuals with disabilities to remove. The town has developed this program to assist these individuals. Register today! In person at Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Road between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Program runs December 1, 2013­March 31, 2014. Eligible Oakville residents include: · Seniors 65 years of age or older. Proof of age will be required · Persons with a physical disability. A doctor's note is required · Registrants will also need to sign a declaration stating that no able-bodied person under the age of 65 is living at their residence. Cost: There is a non-refundable user-fee of $96.05 ($85+HST). Cheque, money order or exact cash only. Credit or debit card service not available.
