Oakville woman prepares for ride of her life by Scott Stewart Oakville Beaver Staff 9 | Friday, October 4, 2013 | OAKVILLE BEAVER | www.insideHALTON.com Oakville resident Melinda Clarke is in for the ride of her life. I'm so proud to be part of the organization." Clarke was at Wellspring, where she has been volunteering in the office, at the time details for the fundraising ride were being discussed. She immediately thought of friends, avid cyclists, who might be interested in participating, but decided to make the ride herself -- for her dad and for her friend Patrick Guran, who died in early September. "I thought I'd volunteer to be a rider, and when I went to the orientation evening, I see Sunday on p.22 Melinda Clarke Shhhh... Oakville's Best Kept Secret.
