Martha was formerly of Oakville and resided at Village Manor, St. Jacobs since 2009. She was the beloved wife of the late Eustachi "Stan" Hodlyk (2007). Loving mother of Cathy and Steve Morris of St. Jacobs, Linda and Mike Brazier of Oakville. Dearly remembered by her grandchildren Anne-Marie and Ian Reid, Joshua Morris and Jennifer Martin, and Phillip Brazier. Martha will be especially missed by her many neighbours and friends in Oakville. A special thank you to Wes and Debbie Moore at Village Manor for all the extra care and attention given to Martha and her family, and also to her many friends at Calvary United Church, St. Jacobs. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Calvary United Church, 48 Hawkesville Road, St. Jacobs on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with our good friend Rev. Survived by his wonderful, loving wife of 58 years, Eva and their four daughters, Linda, Donna, Gail, Sheri, son in-laws Derek, Gary, 10 grand children, great grand son Jack and brother Norman. Dave was a long time employee of Oakville Cablevision and lover of life. He was an avid skier, table tennis player and aspired to be a master chef. Celebration of life will be held at the Glen Oaks Reception Centre 3164 Ninth Line (at Dundas) in Oakville at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 12th. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Carlo Fidani Peel Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated. Online condolences at www.glenoaks.ca. DELEHANTY-SCHOLL, Rosemary (1941 - 2013) Rosemary passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday, September 26. Born in Inverness, Nova Scotia, Rosemary was the daughter of Beatrice (O'Hara) and Francis Delehanty. She was pre-deceased by her husband, John Edward, and by her siblings, John Francis and Michael Thomas Delehanty. She will be sorely missed by her children, Sarah, Amy and Conor and by her siblings: Ken (Kerri), Ted (Joan), Memorie (Mike), Shane (Cathy), sister-in-law, Nancy, and many nieces and nephews. Rosemary taught elementary children for several years for the Peel District School Board and upon retirement, decided to pursue her artistic passion. Through both her realistic and abstract work, use of various media and of vibrant colours, she was able to successfully trigger a recollection or an emotion in the viewer. A strong, loving and creative individual, she was a role model to many in both life and art. The world somehow seems less colourful without her. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at St. John's Dixie Cemetery, 737 Dundas St. E., Mississauga, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ian Anderson House http://www.ianandersonhouse.com/ or Heart House Hospice http://www.hearthousehospice.com/ Condolences may be viewed and left at www.tranquilitycremation.com 905.632.4444 WORK Birth Announcement Call Peter: 647-333-0384 www.stardust construction.com and you will receive a voucher for of your baby's precious hand or footprint ($25.00 value) compliments of: Landscaping, Lawn BRICK, BLOCK STONE WORK Chimneys, Tuck Pointing, Porches, Flag Stone, Window Seals.
