That means, the vast majority of Halton residents don't need to participate in the Garbage Tag Program! This is an increase of 10 per cent since the program was implemented in April 2013. By recycling and composting more, you will have less garbage. You may place three garbage bags/cans or less at the curb every other week. More than three garbage bags/cans require a "garbage tag," up to a total of six garbage bags/cans maximum (three untagged, three tagged).
