Oakville outscored its opponents 39-2 in round-robin play, hammered Orleans 12-1 in the semifinals and trounced the High Park Braves 12-2 in the final. The Scott Tokessy competition is one of the largest Little League tournaments in Canada. This year's tournament attracted 43 teams -- including some from the U.S. -- in six different age divisions. Members of the Whitecaps are Noah Bell, Jacob Carroll, Blake Carson, Braeden Dyck, Mateo Giannidis, Lucas Ilic, Sean Kell, Brayden Makowich, Aaron Stewart, Matthew Tautrims, Tien Truong-Atkins and Xavier Whittle. Brennan Carson, Brian Dyck and Mike Carroll coach the team, and Sue Carson is the manager.
