The organization's president Dave Fulton said the group became aware of various discrepancies earlier this month and filed a complaint with police. No charges have been laid at this time. A news release issued by Fulton said the OMBA board is determined to ensure no games or programs are cancelled as a result of this incident. He said the OMBA is currently working with suppliers to meet its obligations and to determine what support may be available within the community. The OMBA is a non-profit association that celebrated its 50th anniversary this season. It hosts house league, select and rep teams for approximately 900 children throughout the Oakville community. It is a member association of both the Ontario Baseball Association and Baseball Canada and operates solely with the assistance of community volunteers in an effort to provide affordable athletic competition for Oakville residents. Couple faces drugs and firearms charges An Oakville couple is facing charges after firearms and cocaine were seized during a trio of Halton police raids in Oakville early Tuesday (Aug. 13). The Halton police Integrated Drug, Gun and Gang Unit concluded an investigation into alleged cocaine trafficking in Oakville with search warrants at three locations -- South Forester Park Drive apartment, another on Dorval Drive and a Galena Crescent house. Police seized 25 grams of cocaine, three shotguns, $50,000 in cash and digital scales. Michael Eyre, 28, of Oakville faces charges of trafficking a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking. Nicole Burnat, 35, of Oakville faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
