Burloak finished second, less than half a second behind the host Mississauga crew.| Jim Martyn -- Special to the Oakville Beaver Kate Pennyfather won all four of her races to lead the Burloak Canoe Club to the girls' division title at the atom (under-11) championships in Mississauga. Lily Armstrong, Brooke Westwater and Erika Olsen also scored multiple victories for Burloak. Burloak's boys team finished third while the club placed second overall. The boys and girls then competed together in the mixed 15-crew Burloak atoms turn in strong showing war canoe. In a tightly contested race, Burloak was edged by less than half a second by the host, Mississauga. Each of Burloak's 16 paddlers, many of them competing in their first regatta, turned in a topfour finish. The league will hold its annual draft Monday, Sept. 16 at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC).
