Though she no longer does this work, the knowledge is still there. "The background is there. It's not handson anymore. It's more of an entrepreneur, teacher, presenter now." She continues to stay educated in marine biology. Seibt is an "ocean keeper" for the David Suzuki Foundation, supports projects such as Sharkwater by lmmaker Rob Stewart and The Cove by lmmaker Richard O'Barry, both of whom she met, she participates in ocean symposiums and she has spoken about aqua culture at Laurier University. Her new school-based initiative is an extension of her lectures and it's enabling her to get the message out to wider audiences. "I want to save the planet," she said. "I educate myself constantly and I see what's happening and I feel that many people just don't know what's going on. It's not that they don't care. I feel that there's a lack of knowledge and I would like to, not tell them what to do, but at least show them facts that are carefully researched and just tell them what's going on and `what do you think we could do to help in our daily life?'" Advertorial Beauty & Spa · Bridal Makup · Party Makeup · Airbrush · Waterproof Oatmeal re-hydrates, soothes summer skin Specialised in: www.bridesbypayal.com · Bridal Mehndi · Party Mehndi · Hair Style · Esthetics Payal Gupta | 647.291.9265 | E:bridesbypayal@gmail.com (NC)--The mantra for skin protection outdoors is to: wear a hat, wear sunglasses, play in the shade, drink water, use a reliable sunscreen and now add some oatmeal. "As it turns out," says skincare expert and Toronto dermatologist, Dr. Paul Cohen, "this comfort food for breakfast is also exceedingly nourishing and hydrating when applied to the skin. The proteins of colloidal oatmeal have excellent re-hydration properties." This can be seen in the sunscreen line called Aveeno Protect+ Hydrate. Why not get both of those desired bene ts at once and leave skin healthier looking than before it was even exposed to the sun? Oatmeal soothes and hydrates, so when those proteins are skillfully blended with sunscreen formulations (as in the line called Sensitive Skin) that are fragrancefree and hypo-allergenic, it's ideal for sensitive skin at any age, especially tiny tots and teens. Be sure to identify such bene ts on the labels, says Aveeno, a brand best known for the active naturals ingredients and a pioneer in the study of natural ingredients for efcacious skincare. www.newscanada.com Brides by Payal
