Beloved wife of the late Domenico Colella. Loving mother of Anna, Bruna and her husband Nick. Proud Nonna of Carolyn, Anthony and Donato. Antonina will be sadly missed by her sisters Rosa D'Agostino and Elena DePasquale. She was predeceased by her brother Giovanni DePasquale. Antonina was born in Mirabella Eclano, Avellino, Italy and came to Canada in 1957. She was a hard worker and a private woman who prided herself on her independence and honesty. She was known for her stunning gardens, full of flowers and vegetables, and loved nothing more than enjoying the time she spent with her family. ROBINS, Jeffrey R., PhD May 19, 1952 - June 19, 2013 Jeff Robins lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday June 19, 2013. He passed away peacefully at his home in Oakville with his wife, Cynthia (nee Hrynuik) by his side. He is predeceased by his mother Bess Robins (nee Lester), survived by his father, George Robins, sister, Gillian Rainoldi Poulsen (Russell), niece Gabriella, nephews Joseph and Max and cousins Judy, Dale and Penny (Terry). Jeff was born in Lethbridge, Alberta. He studied Chemistry at Queen's University (BSc 1974, MSc 1976) and McMaster University (PhD 1981). In 1981 he joined Ontario Hydro Research Division, which became Kinectrics Inc. in 2000, as a research scientist. Among his many projects, he developed facilities to separate isotopes of hydrogen for the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, the Wolsong CANDU nuclear power plant in South Korea and was most recently instrumental in initiating a similar facility at the Cernavoda CANDU plant in Romania. Jeff and Cynthia were married in 1976. As avid sailors and members of the Oakville Yacht Squadron for over 20 years, they enjoyed sailing Isotope and the friendship of their fellow sailors. Jeff served the Squadron in several positions; Vice Commodore (2012) and Honorary Commodore (2013). A private family funeral will be held in Lethbridge and a celebration of Jeff's life will be held in the next few weeks at the Oakville Yacht Squadron. REID, Dona Marie (nee Noonan) Passed away peacefully at OakvilleTrafalgar Memorial Hospital on Thursday, June 20, 2013 with her husband John by her side. Mother of Nancy and her husband Bruce Yee of Ottawa and June and her husband Keith Jenner of Oakville. Loving grandmother of Kieran, Brianna, Matthew, Teagan, Christopher and Jordan. Condolences through www.koprivataylor.com PEACE, Gordon Durham Passed away on June 21st 2013 in Oakville Ontario at the age of 91. Born April 25, 1922 in Kent England. Predeceased by his wife Totsy and survived by his three sons Glen, Ian and Graham and his sister Grace. Gordon fought in World War II in the Royal Deccan Horse Brigade of the Indian Army where as a Tank Commander he spent most of his time in Burma. After the war was over he left the Army as a Captain and worked with Shell Oil until his retirement in 1980.
