Purina and Evergreen are giving outdoor restorations to five pet shelters across Canada -- the 445 Cornwall Rd. shelter was the first to receive the upgrade. Volunteers added native and perennial plants as well as updated the serenity garden for those whose pets that have died, and one of the most visited areas of the shelter. A natural buffer of plants was created around the exterior of the dog training area.
