"We find that the late Herman Franks came to his death on Sept. 5th, 1927, about 10 o'clock p.m. in the Township of Louth, one mile east of the Village of Jordan, by being hit by a car owned and driven by Joseph Hall of Webster, N.Y. According to the evidence submitted death was due to shock and ruptured lung and that it was purely accidental." From the evidence submitted, it seems that the late Herman Franks stepped from a bus on to the highway and walked directly into the path of the oncoming car...
