Skyway Th WeoawtrTetet ln xaso I Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study The Study The Regional Municipality of Halton recently completed the 2008 South Halton Water and Wastewater Master Plan Update. This Master Plan Update identified several infrastructure prajecis which are required ta service growth in the approved urban areas of Burlington, Oakville, Milton and the Halton Hilîs 401 Corridor ta the year 2021, including a need ta expand the Burlington Skyway Wastewater Trealment Plant by 2013 (refer ta map for Study Area). The Process As a part af the study, a Public Information Centre (PIC) is planned ta provide the projeet objectives, an introduction ta Municipal Class EA process, the status of this FA study, the project consultation plan, and an overview of the existing plant in terms of conditions and performance. Furthermore, the details of the proposed liecision Making Approach, Long List of Alternatives fincluding the option of relocating the outfall ta Lake Ontario), Screening Criteria, Oevelopment of Strategies, and Detailed Evaluation Criteria will also be presented for public and interested parties' consultation. Representatives from the Regian and its consultants wilI be present at the PIC ta answer questions and discuss the next steps in the study.
