The Master Plan Update (MPU) identi- fied a preferred servicing strategy to accommodate growth to the year 2021 in the southern area of the Region, including a need for a new wastewater pumping station on Neyagawa Boulevard, north of Dundas Street to service the North Oakville East Community.. Subsequent to finalizing the MPU document, the North Oakville East Secondary Plan Area Servicing Study has identified alternative sites for the location of the pumping station. In response to the availability of this new information, Halton Region staff have completed an Addendum to the 2008 South Halton Water and Wastewater MPU Class EA Study for the North Oakville Sewage Pumping Station, documenting the basis for the changes and the revised recommendations. This Notice of the Addendum is being placed on the public record for review in accordance with the requirement of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process. Subject to comments received as a result of this Notice and the receipt of aIl necessary approvals, Halton Region intends to proceed with the detailed design and construction as documented n the Addendum.
