The study was conducted in compliance with Schedule C of the Municipal Class Environment Assessment (June 2000, Updated 2007), which is approved under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act. Following the December 5, 2007 Public Information Centre, the preferred alternative was reviewed in light of comments received and modified as required. Taking into consideration the comments that were received from the Town of Milton, regulatory agencies and the public, the recommended alternative includes: *The realignment of 20 Side Road (Regional Road 34) wthin the study area at the reverse (S-shaped) curve, with a rural cross-section and delineated on-road cycling facilities. The Environmental Study Report (ESR) has been prepared ta document the planning and decision making process undertaken for this study. By this Notice, the ESR is being placed on the public record for a 30-day review period in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Class EA. Subject to comments received as a result of this Notice and the receipt of necessary approvals, Halton Region intends to proceed with the detail design and construction as documented in the ESR.
