As lus son James explaîned, he was a buulder of structures wùth bis construc- tion company, a builder of roads as transportation minister, and a builder of communes as a philantbropist and volunteer. "My dad was a builder. He loved to buuld tbings," James saîd. On Saturday, James Snow passed away in his sleep at Milton District Hospital, surrounded by bis family He was 79. Lt was the day of bis 56th wedding anniversary witb bus wîfe, Barbara. Altbough Miltonians are mouming Snow's passing, it doesn't take long for the smiles to emerge, as residents remember Snows remarkable commit- ment to his family and community. As one of bis last contributions to Milton, Snow - together witb Barbara .- made a $500,000 donation to Milton District Hospitals CT Scanner cam- paign. "HeUI be missed by this community," said Mayor Gord Krantz, who said he counted Snow a friend, as well as a fel- low politician. There's no doubt politics formed a large part of Snows life.
