Those with kîds in the Halion public board are invited ta particîpate in the School E[lectiveness Survey. It is avaîl- able on-bune beginning Monday and concludîng Friday, May 9. Tbe survey asks parents to provide feedback about issues related to school effectiveness. Board oflicials say the resuits will provîde important data that will sbape system and school effeciiveness planning for tbe improveineni of student learn- ing. "The parent survey will ensure we bave a torte cottplete picture of oui school systemn," said Wayne Joudrie, the Halton board's director of education. "The parent data wîll be analysed in correlation no stu- dent, teaching and non-teaching staff surveys. The School Effectiveness Survey is an annu- al process for aIl three groups - studenîs, staff and parents," loudrie added.
