The purpose of the study is ta evaluate alternative haul routes for the praposed quarry, and ta identify preferred route(s). This study is being carried out in accordance with the Terms of Reference prepared and required by the City of Hamilton, April 2006. Materials from PIC #2 are available on the St Marys website and are available at variaus community libraries, which are posted online. Members of the public are invited ta attend Public Event #3. This event is structured as an interactive workshap designed ta allaw the public ta pravide input an the alternative haul routes, the evaluation criteria, the relative importance of the criteria, and the evaluatian approach. Public consultation is vital ta the Haul Route Study. The resuits of the warkshop will be used ta assist in the selection af the preferred haul route(s).
