The Burlington trustee says ifs not the con- flict that led to his resignation - ifs first and foremost a desire to spend more time with bis family, wbich has gone througb a number of changes lately, including the death of his father- in-law "Theres been disagreements on the hoard, there has been time in the boardroom when things got personal," Bailey said at last Tuesday's board meeting. The three negligence suits seek com- pensation [rom the Woodhine Entertainment Group - which owns Mowhawk Racctrack - and Lynn Albrecht, who drove the wrong way on Hwy 401 for more than four kilometres and killed two men in a head-on colli- sion in August 2005. Her hlood alcohol level was found to he almost twice the legal himit at the time. A judge in Milton recently sen- tenced 48-year-old Alhrecht to five years in jail and prohibited her from driving for 16 years.
