Orlando Corporation bas committed ta match every dollar up ta $750,000 thats raised over the next year for the new equipment, allowing the foundation ta bump its $3.5-mil- lion target up ta $5 million. The additional funds will be uscd ta acquire further support equipment for the diagnostic imaging department. "Matching gifts inspire aur danors because they know the value of their gift doubles," said foundation directar of development Donna McLaughlin. "Orlando Corporations pledge will provide a significant incentive ta encour- age donors ta give even more generously" Orlando Corparatian president Phil King said the company is excited about its new rela- tianship with the foundatian. "The people of Milton should not have ta travel ta, other bospitals ta obtain a CT scan," he said. "Milton is grawing at a [ast pace and the facilities at the hospîtal must keep pace." With the new goal of $5 million, the CT scanner and diagnostic imaging renewal cam- paign is one of the most ambitious fundraisers the foundation bas even undertaken.
