Secondary school students in Halton are ins'îîed to enter the 2007 Halton Region RBC Business Plan Competition to gain business experience and potentially win cash awards. lnterested youtbs can prepare a business plan for a business they want to start or just an idea for one. "Halton Region is committed te, giving young entrepre- rieurs the skiffs they need to achieve sutcess now and in the future," said Regional Chair Gary Carr. "The annual business plan competition is one way we can encourage Haltons youth to make the most of their oppor- tunîties." Participants in last year's program developed business plans for a variety of producîs and services, from a high-end salon and spa to a student-run car cleaning service.
