" The aduit speiling bee keeps geîîing bigger, organizers said. Last years event saw the live auction of a ride in a Ferrari Enzo and through sponsorship, the auction and ticket sales, managed tu raise more than $20,000. Sinice it began in 2004, the bee has raised more than $40,000. The humorous event, sponsored this year by the Bronte Corporate Centre, wili see 24 teams - a new record - of three battling for speiiing supremacy. Teams represent a variety of local husi- nesses, non-profit agencies and service clubs. The Milton Mail branch of Royal Bank bas won the trophy two years in a row Altbough teamn positions have ail been filled, residents can still enjoy tbe event by coming out lu cheer on tbe players and participate in the Milton Lions Audience Play-a-Long Bee. Advance tickets cost $30 and include a meal, but apace is limited, au interested folks sbould get their tickets soon.
