The Milton 5-L water reservoir and feedermain are required to provide water services to new and existing development located in the Town of Milton and the Halton His 401 Corridor urban areas. The recommended solution is to locate a below-ground water reservoir on the north side of No. 14 Sideroad, east of Bell School Line. The feedermain would run east along No. 14 Sideroad, south along Tremaine Road (Regional Road 22) and east along Derry Road (Regional Road 7) toi connect with the existing water distribution system. As part of the Class EA, public input is being sought on the recommended siting of the reservoir and the alignment of the feedermain. If you would like to provide input on the recommended solution, or receive more information on the Class EA process undertaken, please attend a Public Information Centre (PIC), which will be held: DATE: THURSDAY, MARCH 29, 2007 LOCATION: MILTON SPORTS CENTRE, BANQUET ROOM 605 SANTA MARIA BOULEVARD, MILTON TIME: 5:30 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. You are invited to drop in any time during the above-noted hours to review and comment on the recommended reservoir site and the feedermain alignment. Comments received from this PIC wiIl be considered when finalizing the preferred solution. ST~ AVENUEu & RG. These figures îustify our concerns that the Province must deliver the financial tools and funding commitmrents to accommodate the continued growth in Halton Region. We have to continue to keep the issue of fairness for Halton in front of the Provincial and Federal governments. 1 urge you to visit Halton's website at wwwv.halton.ca to find out more about the 'Fairness for Hatton' campaign and to forward an on-uine postcard to your local MP and MPP in support of the fairness initiative.
