The Hahton Healthy Community Fund (HHCF) is accepting proposais [rom com- munity-based partnerships seeking money for initiatives that contribute to Haitons healthy community and quality of life. Recipients may get up to, $30,000 each year for a maximum of three years. Second and third-year funding wiii be based on the availability of funds and the project's success. This year, the HHCF distributed $432,399 and supported 24 local communi- ty-based projects. The dollars are made avait- able through combined resources of funding partners in Haiton Region. The HHCF partners have been working together since 1998 and include Halton Region, the City of Burlington, Burlington Community Foundation, towcis of Halton His, Milton and Oakvilie, Ministry of Community and Social Services, Community Foundation of Oakville, Ontario Trilium Foundation and the United Ways of Burlington and Greater Hamilton, Haiton His, Milton and Oakvilie.
