Al14 - Champion Country, Tuesday, August 22, 2006 \British cars on display at Kelso Britisb car entbusiasts are invited to rev their engines and drive on over to the Halton Region Museum Sunday From 10 arn. to 4 p.m., the museum - located at Kelso Conservation Area off Tremaine Road - will bost a car dis- play of the Britisb Saloon Car Club of Canada. Bnitish cars from the pre-war era to the present day will be showcased on the scenic museum grounds. About 50 vebicles of various makes will be on display, including Wolseley, Riley, Hilîman, Rover, Morris, Jaguar, Vauxhaîl, MG and Triumpb. Tbe car club, wbicb boasts about 550 members world- %vide, was establisbed in 1994 for tbose wbo are passionate about tbe lesser-known Britisb cars. "Every year we assemble a variety of unique and unusual cars for display," said Tony Fox of the Britisb Saloon Car Club of Canada. "This year's crowd-pleasers are two Roîls Royces, a 1978 drop-head Comish and a 1953 Silver Dawn." Entry to the show is free witb admission to, Kelso.
