Newlove, who lives in Guelph but maintains a studio in Campbellville, said ber art is very [emimine and sorte- wbai surreal. Mucb of it is based on ideas rather than ohjects, and she tends to paint [rom her memory or subcon- scious rather than [rom photos. "This gallery bas been so supportive. Hopefully it (the exhibit) gets some attention," Newlove said. A musical evening in the cozy atmosphere of the Gambrel Barn at Country Heritage Park is what concert- goers will be treated to with the Milton Choristers' final concert of the season. Cabaret, a Memorable Night of Broadway Classies, will be performed lune 3 at 7:30 p.m. ai the park, whicb is located ai 8560 Tremaine Rd. The evening wull feature familiar selections from Mamma Mia, Les Miserables, Cats, West Side Story and other favourite shows in a casual, pub night format under the leadership of director Sonja van de Hoef. Entertainiment will also be provided by jazz trio Moments Notice. A sulent auction, refreshments and a cash bar wilI round out the evening. Advance ticket purchases are recomn- mended, since this end-of-season con- cert is often sold-out. Tickets cost $18 for adults, $15 for students and seniors and $10 for chul- dren.
