Proposed Halton Hulis The Halton Huils Generating Station is subject to the Environmental Screening Process for electricity projects as outlined in the Ontario Ministry of the Environment's "Guide to Environmental Assessment Requirements for Electricity Projects." (March 2001) This notice has been issued to advise the public, other stakeholders and government agencies of TransCanada's proposai and the commencement of the Environmental Screening Process. TransCanada is committed to engaging and consulting with the public and other stakeholder groups throughout the development of the project. The consultation and éngagemens process will seek community input regarding local environmental and socio-economic conditions, facility design plans, anticipated project benefits and impacts and impact management plans.
