Classical guitar concert on Apr. 29 St. Paul's United Church will be filled wîth the sweet strains of classical gustar in an upcoming performance of two brothers. April 29 at 2 p.m., Grzegorz and Andrzej Krawîec wdll present a programn of guitar duets by Bach, Chopin, Kleynjans, Granados and Rodrigo. For the past 10 years, the pair has been winming international competitions individually and together. This wîll be the first visit to Canada for AndrzeJ and the fourth for Grzegorz. Grzegorz, 25, was horn in Poland and studied classical guitar fromt the urne hie was seven years old. In 1999, hie entered the Frederic Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, and completed his masters degree in gui- tar performance in 2004. In addition to playing with orchestras throughout Poland, concert engage- ments have taken Grzegorz to countries including Austria, the Czech Republsc, Germany, ltaly and Spain. He has recorded for radio and TV in Poland, and his dehut solo CD was released last year.
